Since our program is designed to introduce students to the resources and opportunities UF-main campus has to offer, one of our main qualifications would be that the mentor would feel familiar and comfortable enough to connect them to specific on-campus resources and student involvement opportunities whenever needed. While we would welcome your application, we may give priority to those who are in Gainesville so they may be able to provide students with a bit more Gainesville-specific guidance.
